Story Pocket Productions is excited to announce that its documentary series Cottonwood Connections has received a full commitment for the spring and fall seasons of 2024 with 12 episodes per season.
The approval for the full year comes with several advantages, chiefly the ability to plan for episodes that require longer lead times for production and execution. This might be a result of either specific events that are occurring throughout the year, or topics that might span months and require updates to get the full story.
“The topics keep coming,” said Ed Lowry, Story Pocket Productions producer. “The more we are producing and creating the show, the more we learn about the region and the stories of those who shaped it. We have had multiple concepts this year that started as a single episode idea and expanded to two or three ideas.”
The spring season of Cottonwood Connections begins in March of 2024 with new episodes airing on Smoky Hills PBS and later broadcasting on KTWU Topeka. The first three seasons of the series are available everywhere on PBS’s streaming service, PBS Passport, and on the Cottonwood Ranch Media YouTube channel.
