Season Two of Smart Justice Podcast

Season two of the podcast Smart Justice premiered Wednesday, January 11 2023. The podcast, a work of Restore Hope Arkansas, focuses on finding new and innovative ways to help people find ways out of justice related issues like incarceration and foster care.

Season two, titled Upstream, looks at how district courts can serve as an off ramp for people beginning a path into the justice system by directing them instead to options like addiction recovery, adult education and other services, with Restore Hope’s initiative 100 Families taking a front line role.

Smart Justice is available in video on Youtube and in audio form on all major podcast platforms. It is directed and edited by Story Pocket’s Ed Lowry. Lowry worked with Restore Hope director Paul Chapman and communications director Renie Rule to create the program with its initial season in 2022.
